Samsung Serves AI-Powered Personalized Food

A personalized, AI-powered food and recipe platform called Samsung Food has officially launched, according to Samsung Electronics.

With more than 160,000 recipes available, Samsung Food will provide full food experiences when it launches in 104 countries and eight languages1 around the world. Samsung Food serves as a personalized assistant that helps users find new meals, make custom meal plans, and place online orders for ingredients. The program will also enable users to manage their kitchen appliances, provide step-by-step cooking instructions, and post favorite recipes on social media.

Samsung Food utilizes AI technology to create a personalized food platform that caters to users’ needs and lifestyles. Drawing from the extensive database of Whisk, a smart food platform acquired by Samsung Next in 2019, Samsung Food uses Food AI to suggest meals based on user preferences and seasonality. The platform offers four key areas: recipe discovery, personalized meal planning, connected cooking, and social sharing functions. Users can save recipes to their digital recipe box, analyze them, and create shopping lists based on ingredients. Additionally, they can access Samsung Food services through their Bespoke Family Hub™ refrigerators, which provide recipe recommendations based on a user’s managed food items.
