Tether Launches USDT Stablecoin On Kava Network

Tether’s USDt, the world’s most liquid stablecoin, has launched on Cosmos via Kava, marking a significant step forward in the development of the Cosmos DeFi ecosystem. The release of Kava 14 USDt issued on Kava can now be moved between the Cosmos Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC) and EVM blockchains via a “internal bridge” with controlled access, reducing attack vectors significantly.

Kava is a Layer-1 blockchain that is scalable and developer-friendly, combining the greatest characteristics of Ethereum and Cosmos. It is also worth noting the Kava network’s excellent level of security, as its blockchain has been operational for four years with no security issues. This is great news for USDt network users.

The Cosmos IBC and EVM ecosystems now have fast access to Tether’s substantial stablecoin liquidity because to Kava’s support for Tether USDT. Both consumers and developers will benefit from increased security and reliability by adopting Tether, a stablecoin with a good reputation and around 65% of the stablecoin market share.
