Blockchain Association Joins Coinbase Against SEC
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chair Gary Gensler should step down from overseeing the crypto sector, according to the Blockchain Association, a lobbying group for the American cryptocurrency industry. The group claims his public remarks have demonstrated he doesn’t have an objective perspective on the issues.
The announcement was made in the form of an open letter after Coinbase Inc., the biggest cryptocurrency exchange with headquarters in the United States, filed a notice of intent on Wednesday asking a judge to dismiss the regulator’s action against the business.
