Turkey Crypto Investment Up 27.1% In 2022

Turkey experienced the fastest growth in cryptocurrency ownership between 2021 and 2022, according to a recent report. According to reports, the ownership of cryptocurrencies in Turkey increased by an impressive 27.1% between July 2021 and July 2022.

According to a recent analysis from GWI research, Turkey had the highest rate of cryptocurrency adoption, with Argentina and the Philippines coming in at the second and third spots for growth in cryptocurrency ownership rates. Argentina and the Philippines both experienced rises of 23.5% and 23.4%, respectively.

According to sources, the study looks at whether people between the ages of 16 and 64 own any kind of cryptocurrency. The top 15 nations that saw the most increases in crypto ownership are shown in the graphic below, along with the 11.9% gain that was the global average during that time.

Notably, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam all had rapid growth throughout the designated period, despite Turkey’s dominance on the chart.
