Games Swaps Make Debut Of NFL Video Game
The blockchain-enabled NFL Rivals mobile video game from Mythical Games is now available to the general public.
The release of the first officially licenced NFL crypto game, however, comes with a twist, with Mythical stating that it will swap Ethereum for the Polkadot blockchain. The company hopes that the switch will increase the number of users who play Mythical titles and trade their in-game digital assets, or NFTs.
Mythical CEO John Linden believes that by releasing a video game based on professional football, easily America’s most popular sport, NFL Rivals will be the first blockchain-powered title to tap into the lucrative market of mobile gaming.
