Porsche Collaborates With Microsoft For Metaverse
Porsche Cars North America has announced a partnership with Microsoft to “revolutionise skilling, training, and customer experiences” using HoloLens 2 and Dynamics 365 Guides.
Prior to Hannover Messe 2023, Microsoft announced the partnership together with the arrival of Windows 11 for HoloLens 2 and new Dynamics 365 Guides features.
Porsche Cars North America claims that Microsoft technology is guiding its cloud transformation projects to improve the effectiveness and consistency of the business’s automotive services in the US.
As part of what Microsoft refers to as its strategic commitment to HoloLens 2, mixed reality, and the industrial metaverse, Windows 11 will be available as a free upgrade for HoloLens 2 in the first quarter of this calendar year.
