OpenSea Drops Gemesis NFT, OS Pro

This week, OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace, re-ignited the war by releasing their own “pro” trading tools. Technically more of a rebranding than a new product, OpenSea has rebranded their trading tools that were previously known as Gem as an elite suite for all traders.

The king of marketplaces, now known as OpenSea Pro, provides traders with over 170 listings in one place, floor-sweeping tools, inventory management options, collection and trait offers, and much more.

It’s a long-overdue package, and with these new tools, OpenSea hopes to halt the bleeding out of their user base that had been flowing over to Blur.

They are not receiving rewards such as the BLUR token, which is delivered to Blur marketplace traders. OpenSea intends to reward traders with a new type of token, beginning with a free NFT for previous Gem users. Gemesis, the first reward, is a limited edition NFT commemorating OpenSea’s new milestone moment.
