FTX Investor Due Diligence Under SEC Scanner

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is investigating whether investors in the bankrupt crypto exchange FTX followed proper due diligence procedures, according to Reuters on January 5th, citing two sources familiar with the investigation.

The report did not name the companies under investigation, and the investigation will focus on whether the companies fulfilled their fiduciary duty to their own investors rather than whether they committed wrongdoing.
