The New York Stock Exchange has chosen Broadridge Financial Solutions as partner to deliver blockchain-based proxy voting for its new tokenized securities platform. The firm, a leader in proxy voting solutions on wall street, will modify its solutions to work on-chain.

How On-chain Voting Will Work

The integrated system will allow holders of tokenized equity securities to cast shareholder votes directly on-chain, using their verified token positions as the basis for vote allocation. This is intended to eliminate discrepancies that can arise in traditional proxy processes, where share records across custodians may not reconcile in real time.

Four New Firms Join The Initiative

NYSE has also expanded its tokenized securities coalition by adding four new institutional participants to the project. While specific firm names were not disclosed in all reports, the expansion signals growing Wall Street appetite for participation in regulated tokenized market infrastructure.
