  • Securitize expands its blockchain infrastructure for qualified tokenized financial products by integrating ADI Chain.
  • ADI Chain adds a UAE-based network to Securitize’s multi-chain ecosystem and focuses on stablecoins, real-world assets, payments, and settlement.
  • The integration does not ensure that all Securitize products will be accessible on the ADI Chain or provide a new financial product.

Securitize has expanded its blockchain network with the integration of ADI Chain, adding the UAE-based blockchain to the infrastructure available for eligible tokenized financial products.

According to a September 30 announcement, products issued through Securitize may use ADI Chain where permitted by their structure and applicable regulatory and jurisdictional requirements.

The integration does not mean all Securitize products will be deployed on ADI Chain. Instead, it creates another infrastructure option for eligible tokenized assets, subject to product design, regulatory rules, and market requirements.

ADI Chain Targets Payments & Real-world Assets

ADI Chain is built around applications involving stablecoins, real-world assets (RWAs), payments, and settlement. The network is also associated with DDSC, a dirham-backed stablecoin initiated by International Holding Company and First Abu Dhabi Bank and licensed by the UAE Central Bank, according to the ADI Foundation.

For Securitize, the integration adds a blockchain focused on digital assets and payment infrastructure to its growing multi-chain ecosystem.

Securitize Expands Multi-chain Tokenization

The ADI Chain integration follows several deployments by Securitize across major blockchain networks.

The Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC) for Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui was introduced in August by Securitize and Neuberger Berman.

In addition to bank loans, collateralized loan obligations, and other fixed-income assets, the fund mainly invests in high-yield bonds. Only qualified investors are granted access.

The HINC launch demonstrates how Securitize can use multiple blockchain networks for a single financial product. ADI Chain now adds another potential network for future eligible deployments.

UAE Adds A New Regional Link

Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo highlighted the UAE’s position as a potential connection point between investors and financial products across international markets.

Domingo said the company views the UAE as a potential hub connecting investors across emerging markets with regulated financial products.

However, the ADI Chain integration itself does not create automatic access to investors in those markets. Any deployment remains subject to applicable rules and eligibility requirements.

Tokenized Assets Face Evolving Regulations

The expansion comes as regulators continue developing rules for tokenized securities.

On September 17, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission introduced a temporary five-year Innovation Exemption covering certain permissioned venues and liquidity providers involved in trading eligible tokenized NMS stocks.

The framework includes requirements related to eligible securities, disclosures, technology safeguards, trading volumes, and issuer notifications.

The SEC initiative is separate from Securitize’s ADI Chain integration but highlights the evolving regulatory environment surrounding tokenized financial products.

ADI Chain Joins Securitize’s Growing Network

Securitize’s latest integration adds another blockchain option for tokenized funds, securities, and other eligible financial products.

The immediate impact will depend on which products are eventually deployed on the ADI Chain and whether institutions and eligible investors adopt them.
