Strive Inc. has purchased 1,355 Bitcoin for $107.7 million, taking its total Bitcoin holdings to 26,355 BTC, according to a September 21, 2026 disclosure. The Nasdaq-listed company, which trades under the ticker ASST, made the purchase between September 14 and September 18 at an average price of $79,475 per Bitcoin.

Chairman and CEO Matt Cole announced the purchase on September 21 and later pointed to the company’s Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The latest purchase adds to Strive’s growing corporate Bitcoin treasury, which has expanded rapidly through a combination of preferred-stock financing and warrant exercises.

The latest purchase was made as Strive continues its strategy of building a large Bitcoin reserve on its corporate balance sheet. The company emerged as a Bitcoin treasury vehicle following its merger with Semler Scientific and has been reporting Bitcoin purchases on a regular basis.

Cole’s announcement highlighted three key figures: 1,355 BTC purchased, 26,355 BTC held and a marked-to-market value of about $2.14 billion. The valuation was based on a Bitcoin price of $81,175 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on September 18. It was therefore a reference price for the Friday market close rather than a live price at the time of the announcement.

At the $81,175 reference price, Strive’s 26,355 BTC holdings were worth roughly $2.14 billion. The company’s latest purchase price of $79,475 was about $1,700 below that reference price. However, this difference represents only an unrealised change in value and can move quickly with Bitcoin’s market price.

The funding structure for the latest purchase also showed a change from earlier transactions. Strive said warrant exercises generated $21.2 million in gross proceeds during the week. Overall, 57.7% of the capital raised for the programme has come from SATA, the company’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock.

Earlier in September, the company said the entire amount raised for a 469 BTC purchase had come from SATA. The latest transaction therefore shows that cash generated through warrant exercises is now also contributing to Strive’s Bitcoin purchases.

Warrant exercises can increase the number of common shares outstanding. For investors, this means that the growth in Bitcoin holdings needs to be considered alongside changes in the company’s share count. The relevant details, including share numbers and cash balances, are contained in the SEC filing.

Strive has been steadily increasing its Bitcoin holdings this month. On September 4, the company reported 24,531 BTC after purchasing 1,375 Bitcoin for about $109 million. It then added another 469 BTC between September 8 and September 11, taking its holdings past 25,000 BTC.

The latest transaction brings the total to 26,355 BTC as of September 18. The company has therefore added more than 1,800 Bitcoin to its treasury since the beginning of September.

Strive remains much smaller than Strategy in terms of Bitcoin holdings. Strategy separately reported on September 21 that it had purchased another 950 BTC, taking its own holdings to 846,000 BTC.

For Strive, however, the latest purchase represents another significant expansion of its Bitcoin treasury. Its continued purchases also highlight how listed companies are increasingly using different forms of equity financing to build cryptocurrency reserves.
