Velo And Solana Partner Towards Laos Digital Gold Project

Velo and the Solana Foundation have partnered to establish a clearing house for Laos Digital Gold transactions. Velo will serve as the infrastructure layer and clearing house, while Solana will be the blockchain settlement layer. The project aims to promote interoperability and a connected ecosystem by connecting Solana’s blockchain, Nova, and EVM-compatible chains.

The MOU includes a robust bridging mechanism to enhance interoperability between Solana’s L1, Nova, and EVM-compatible chains.

The partnership is a blend of financial investment and opportunity in the digital space. The platform will implement liquidity management protocols, including on-ramp and off-ramp systems on the Solana blockchain.

Velo will ensure the smooth running of Laos Gold, validating transactions, upholding trust, and executing contractual obligations.
