Ethereum Game ‘Space Nation Online’ Launches Airdrop Rewards
Space Nation Online, an Ethereum-based sci-fi MMORPG, has launched a 10-week airdrop rewards event during its closed beta test.
Players holding certain NFTs will receive “OIK shards” (airdrop points) for Space Nation Online. Each day at 9:05 UTC, a snapshot of NFT holders will be taken, and those players will receive their OIK shards, which can be converted to OIK tokens at a 10:1 ratio.
Space Nation was founded in 2019 by gaming industry veterans Jerome Wu and Tony Tang, and is backed by filmmaker Roland Emmerich. The “Cosmorathon” event will airdrop up to 10 million OIK tokens until June 16.
The amount of shards earned depends on the NFT they hold. Immutable Games, the publisher of Ethereum NFT card game Gods Unchained, will release an expansion pack called Dread Awakening, featuring a crossover with the upcoming mobile role-playing game Guild of Guardians.
