Public companies are rapidly emerging as a new force in crypto markets, with corporate treasuries now holding more than $100 billion in digital assets, according to a Galaxy Research report. The bulk of the holdings—over $93 billion—are in bitcoin, representing nearly 4% of the circulating supply. Meanwhile, Ether holdings among corporates have climbed to 1.3 million ETH, worth more than $4 billion and accounting for 1.09% of the total ETH supply.
Key players like Strategy, SharpLink, and Metaplanet are leading the trend, which is gaining further momentum alongside record-breaking U.S. spot Ether ETF inflows. Since July 3, these ETFs have added $5.3 billion in ETH over 19 consecutive days of net inflows, according to Farside Investors.
With growing corporate adoption and strong ETF demand, Standard Chartered projects Ether could break the $4,000 barrier by year-end, signaling the start of a broader shift in institutional digital asset strategies.
