Animoca Brands Invests In UAE Web3 Startup Eesee

UAE Web3 gamified digital assets startup Eesee has secured an investment from Animoca Brands, aiming to enhance the efficiency and experience of digital asset trading within the Web3 environment. Eesee has over 1.6 million wallets on its testnet and has tripled its user base since 2024.

The partnership will help Eesee become a one-stop liquidity solution for sellers, reaching a wider audience and strengthening its connections within the Web3 ecosystem.

Eesee has raised over $3 million in funding rounds from SevenX Ventures, Maven Capital, and Momentum 6, as well as through high-profile crypto influencers. Eesee aims to provide the features of major auction platforms and NFT marketplaces with a twist, allowing users to place small bids on high-value real-life items and cryptocurrencies.

The platform intends to launch later in 2024 on Blast, a layer 2 mainnet based on Ethereum that recently unlocked $2.3 billion in staked cryptocurrency for the first time.
