Grayscale Investments looks close to launching its Hyperliquid staking ETF after submitting its sixth amendment to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said the fund could start trading in a few days and will likely use the ticker HYPG. The latest filing shows a management fee of 0.29%, giving it a small cost edge over similar products from Bitwise and 21Shares.
The proposed ETF will give investors exposure to Hyperliquid’s HYPE token and include staking features. However, questions remain about possible staking fees, which haven’t been disclosed yet.
Grayscale has made several changes to the filing in recent weeks, suggesting talks with regulators are moving forward. The fund is expected to launch with about 2 million HYPE tokens as seed capital, currently worth around $144 million.
