Best Bitcoin Ordinals Wallets

Bitcoin Ordinals have grown in popularity, with over 123,000 inscriptions now permanently recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain. A thriving trading and auction market exists for the most sought-after tokens and collections with low inscription numbers. Let’s talk about ordinals wallets and which ones are the best.

‍What is Ordinals Wallet

Ordinals Wallet is a Bitcoin wallet that accepts inscriptions in Ordinals. It enables users to receive, store, and view Ordinal NFTs in their wallets, as well as transfer, send, inscribe, and buy and sell Ordinal NFTs.

Wallets that are Best for Ordinal NFTs

1. Ordinals Wallet

Ordinals Wallet, which was released on February 16, is the most recent Bitcoin wallet to explicitly support Ordinals Inscriptions. Users can use this wallet to store, receive, and view Ordinal NFTs, with functionality for inscribing, transferring, sending, and buying/selling Ordinals expected soon.

2. The Xverse Wallet

Xverse, a web3 Bitcoin wallet, recently launched its Bitcoin Ordinals service, which provides first-rate Ordinals support. Xverse, unlike other wallets, allows users to interact with the blockchain without having to run a full Bitcoin node. The wallet app also includes a fiat on ramp service, which allows users to buy Bitcoin in order to pay transaction fees.

Users can inscribe an Ordinal NFT by uploading an image or text to the app and sending a transaction to their Ordinal’s address. The NFT will appear in the user’s Xverse NFT collection within half an hour.

3. Hiro Wallet

Hiro Wallet led the way with a testnet rollout on February 14, offering significant support for both Stacks-based NFTs and Ordinal inscriptions prior to the release of Xverse and Ordinals Wallet. Hiro Wallet plans to release additional updates in the coming days.
