Italians Crypto Holders Rise To 1.5 mn
Italian crypto holders, equivalent to 2.5% of the population, are primarily Millennials, with 44.5% preferring Bitcoin (37%), Ethereum (16%), and Solana (8%).
They also invest 5% in Ripple and Sui. Gen Z prefers Bitcoin (41%), Litecoin (7%), and Sui (5.5%). Interest in Ethereum and Solana drops to 13.5% and 7.5% compared to Millennials.
Generation X considers cryptocurrencies more for diversification, with Bitcoin at 31%, Ethereum at 16.5%, and Solana at 10%.
They also invest 5.5% on Cardano and Avalanche, and 5% on SUI and LTC. Binance reports that 72% of users are optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies in Italy, with high potential returns and the appeal of decentralization being key drivers.
