Binance will start disconnecting miners from the pool at 07:00 UTC on November 10th. The connection nodes that mining hardware uses to communicate with Binance Pool will become inaccessible, so any computational power directed towards the exchange’s mining pool after this date will no longer accrue rewards.
A crypto mining pool is a platform that enables groups of miners to combine their computational resources and increase the likelihood of earning rewards for each new block mined on the blockchain network. Subsequently, the mining rewards are distributed to the contributing miners in accordance with the proportion of their input into the mining pool. Such a set-up benefits individual miners who would not be able to participate in crypto mining on a large scale due to insufficient computational power.
In addition to facilitating crypto mining operations for those who possess their own mining equipment, Binance Pool also offered cloud mining services. Through this service, users could purchase the right to use the company’s computational power to participate in crypto mining. In addition, the Transaction Accelerator tool was designed to help users complete Bitcoin transactions that took too long to confirm.
The company informed users that they should withdraw their deposits in the Pool Savings program before the discontinuation date. In addition, users were reminded to complete their KYC verification procedures by 23:59 UTC on November 10th in order to be able to withdraw their deposits and rewards.
The exchange also stated that the claims for rewards that have already been processed will be paid out in accordance with the terms and conditions of Binance Pool. At the same time, all account verifications must be completed to enable the processing of claims.
In addition, the company reminded users of the need to back up their data before the end of the service, as access to Binance Pool’s dashboard will be terminated. Users can expect Binance Pool to disappear from the exchange’s website on 10 November. The link to Binance Pool’s dashboard will be visible on the site until 07:00 UTC on 24 November, after which it will be deleted.
It is not yet known what percentage of Bitcoin’s computing power will be displaced by the closure of Binance Pool. As such, it is difficult to estimate how much of Bitcoin’s mining power will be redirected to other pools after Binance announces its exit from the market.
Earlier this month, on October 9th, news emerged that Binance planned to close the Binance Pool for Brazilian users, discontinuing its mining services for the region. This decision was scheduled to take effect on October 27th, as the local office prepared to adapt its operations to new reporting requirements.
It is noteworthy that Binance is not the only major crypto exchange that has decided to exit the mining pool business this year. On July 31st, 2026, SBI Crypto announced the end of operations of its Bitcoin mining pool, suggesting that its users consider other crypto exchanges that offer mining services.
