  • Fairshake will support 32 House incumbents, including 19 Republicans and 13 Democrats in the lead‑up to the 2026 US midterms.
  • All 32 candidates support the CLARITY Act, which seeks to create US regulatory oversight for digital assets.
  • Fairshake expects to spend, than $100 million on supporting House and Senate candidates during the 2026 election cycle.

Fairshake, a super PAC backed by the crypto industry has announced that it will support 32 US House candidates as the November 2026 midterm elections approach. This move expands Fairshake’s campaign spending while lawmakers discuss the future of asset regulation.

Fairshake said it will spend a total of $6 million at first. That money will be split among six candidates with three Democrats and three Republicans each receiving $1 million from Fairshake and its affiliates.

The Democrats who will receive support are Oregon Representative Janelle Bynum, California Representative Derek Tran and Nevada Representative Steven Horsford. The Republicans who will receive support are Arkansas Representative French Hill, Michigan Representative Bill Huizenga and Wisconsin Representative Bryan Steil.

CLARITY Act Stalls, Putting Crypto Policy Back In Election Spotlight

All 32 candidates on Fairshake’s list voted to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, known as the CLARITY Act, which was designed to establish clearer regulatory responsibilities for US financial agencies overseeing digital assets.

The bill cleared the House but later failed to advance through a key Senate vote, leaving its future uncertain. The setback has kept crypto market structure legislation at the center of the industry’s political agenda ahead of the midterms.

“Fairshake has always been and always will be an issue-focused organization,” Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter said. “We back pro-crypto candidates who support American innovation in both parties.”

Fairshake Builds Crypto Influence Across Congress

Fairshake’s latest list includes lawmakers serving on committees expected to play important roles in future crypto legislation, including the House Financial Services and Ways and Means committees. Agriculture, science and judiciary panels are also represented.

Fairshake said it has backed 53 winners in 57 primary races so far and aims to help build “the largest pro-crypto caucus in American history.”

The PAC is expected to spend more than $100 million supporting House and Senate candidates during the 2026 election cycle. It has already committed at least $30 million to an Ohio Senate race targeting former Senator Sherrod Brown, according to reports.

Fairshake had $122 million in cash on hand in August, Vetter said. Public Citizen reported that the PAC had spent about $82 million on political advertising as of June, while estimating that crypto-aligned companies and advocacy groups had contributed roughly $189 million to election efforts.

Unlike traditional campaign spending, Fairshake’s advertising is conducted independently of candidate campaigns. The group has also focused its ads on broader voter issues rather than directly making crypto the central theme.
