The market has expanded significantly since early 2024 as financial assets increasingly move onto blockchain networks. The latest data highlights the strong role of tokenized funds in driving the sector’s growth.
sUSDS Leads Individual Assets
Among individual tokenized assets, sUSDS held the largest market capitalization at $4.4 billion, representing 9.7% of the market.
USYC and XAUT followed at $2.9 billion each, while BUIDL reached $2.8 billion. JMWH stood at $2.2 billion, followed by USDY at $2.1 billion and PAXG at $2 billion.
The remaining assets collectively accounted for $21.3 billion, or 47.6% of the market, showing that the sector remains spread across a broad range of tokenized products.
Sky & Securitize Top Issuers
Sky and Securitize ranked as the largest individual issuers, with each accounting for $4.5 billion, or 10.1% of the total market.
Ondo Finance followed with $3.5 billion, while Tether and Circle each recorded $2.9 billion. Franklin Templeton accounted for $2.5 billion, followed by Tradable at $2.3 billion and Justoken at $2.2 billion.
RWA Use In DeFi Continues To Grow
Tokenized assets are also gaining traction across decentralized finance (DeFi). A CoinShares and Token Terminal report published on August 6 found that deposits of tokenized RWAs into DeFi lending platforms and decentralized exchanges reached $7.4 billion in Q2 2026.
That was more than three times the $2.3 billion recorded during the same period a year earlier. The increase came even as overall DeFi deposits declined by about 15% year over year.
