Worldcoin Adding Eight Users Per Second: Sam Altman
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman founded Worldcoin tweeted that Worldcoin witnessing a growth in adoption he quoted “one person getting verified every 8 seconds now.” He also attached a video footage of people standing in a line to use the ORB technology used in the project.
More than 2 Million people registered in this project as per reports from 13th July.
However, Altman claimed the project verifies one person every eight seconds but it remains unclear how many people participated.
Altman’s video recording is particularly selective because the project has numerous offices across the world where users can complete the verification need. Some users have stated that there are no such lines at certain sign-up locations, including one in Dubai.
On-chain data also point to low adoption. According to Etherscan data, around 3,650 people own the WLD token, and 13,766 transfers have occurred.
