Strategy, the enterprise software firm led by Michael Saylor, added 525 BTC between September 8 and 14, spending just over $60 million at an average price of $114,562 per coin. With this, the company’s Bitcoin holdings have risen to 638,985 BTC, worth more than $73 billion at today’s market value. The firm has invested $47.23 billion since 2020 at an average price of $73,913 per BTC, leaving it with over $31 billion in unrealized profits.
Michael Saylor announced the milestone on X, pointing to a 25.9% Bitcoin yield year-to-date. While the 525 BTC purchase is smaller than earlier acquisitions—including 1,955 BTC just last week for $217 million—Strategy continues its tradition of consistent Bitcoin buying. Earlier this year, the firm made single acquisitions of over $1 billion. Since the summer of 2020, Strategy’s near-weekly purchases have cemented its role as the largest corporate Bitcoin holder worldwide and a leader in institutional crypto adoption.
