SpaceX executed a significant bitcoin transfer worth more than $105.4 million, sending 1,163 BTC to two newly created wallets in a move recorded Wednesday evening.
According to Arkham Intelligence, the company distributed 399 BTC to one address and 764 BTC to another. This marks SpaceX’s first major transaction since October 29, when it shifted 281 BTC.
Following the latest transfers, SpaceX’s total holdings stand at 6,095 BTC, valued at approximately $556.7 million. Although the company has not added new bitcoin since mid-2022, it has regularly reorganized its wallets for security and operational reasons. Analysts believe these transfers may involve upgrades to custody arrangements or efforts to move funds away from older, less secure legacy addresses.
The company has seen large fluctuations in its bitcoin reserves, once holding more than $1.6 billion in 2021 before reducing exposure during the Terra-Luna and FTX-driven market chaos. Recent activity suggests continued optimization of its long-term digital asset strategy.
