Ripple Donates Another $25 mn To Crypto Super PAC Fairshake
Ripple has contributed $25 million to Fairshake, a federal crypto super political action committee (PAC) that is supporting crypto-friendly Congressional candidates this election year.
Ripple’s contributions account for roughly half of the more than $100 million Fairshake has raised from major players in the crypto space, including Coinbase, Gemini, Andreessen Horowitz, and ARK Invest.
Many in the crypto industry see the 2024 elections as a critical opportunity to elect pro-crypto candidates and oust less-than-friendly candidates, such as Congresswoman Katie Porter, an ally of Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
Ripple attributed its contribution to Fairshake as part of an industry-wide effort to advance policies that support the next generation of financial innovation in the U.S.
