Proposal Passed To Bring Back Binance LUNC Burns
Terra Classic members have approved a proposal that will ensure the resumption of Binance LUNC burns. According to LUNC influencer Classy, the Terra Classic community has approved the inclusion of optional features in the network’s v1.1.0 release. The proposal that was approved addresses Binance’s concerns.
Binance announced last year that it would discontinue its voluntary burns of LUNC trading fees. However, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange stated that it would only resume LUNC burns if the crypto project met its requirements.
To begin, Binance required Terra Classic developers to exclude their burns from token re-mints. Furthermore, the exchange requested that the on-chain tax be waived for its wallet. The exchange promised to resume LUNC burns on March 1 on the condition that the Terra Classic developers meet its demands.
