Opera Browser To Add Gemini AI Like Feature

Opera has partnered with Google Cloud to improve its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The Aria AI platform will incorporate Google’s Gemini models, which use Google’s large language models (LLMs), for advanced functionalities like image generation and text-to-voice capabilities. This partnership will enhance the browser’s performance and user experience by providing up-to-date responses and more accurate results.

Opera has also launched a green energy-powered AI data cluster in Iceland, utilizing NVIDIA DGX technology.

The latest AI feature drop, Aria in Opera One Developer, offers free image generation using Google’s Imagen 2 model on Vertex AI. Opera plans to feature the Gemini Pro 1.5 and Gemini Pro 1.5 Flash to balance performance and capacity.
