Michael Saylor’s Strategy has bought Bitcoins worth $1.25 billion. This is its largest purchase since July. Strategy, the world’s largest publicly traded holder of bitcoin, has increased its bitcoin holdings for the third consecutive week and its biggest purchase since July.
The company, led by executive chairman Michael Saylor, has added 13,627 bitcoins for $1.25 billion, at an average price of roughly $91,519 per bitcoin.
The company now holds 687,410 BTC, acquired for a total of $51.80 billion. Its average purchase price is $75,353 per bitcoin.
The latest addition to the company’s bitcoin reserves has been funded through the sale of $1.1 billion in common stock and $119.1 million of its perpetual preferred equity, Stretch.
