The “Made in Bengaluru” Kannada film set will be made available in the metaverse. Interality, a company that specializes in mixed reality technology, announced the news.
The film was written and directed by Pradeep Sastry. Anant Nag, Saikumar, and Prakash Belawadi also play important roles in the cast, which is led by Madhusudan Govind. The story follows three dreamy-eyed middle-class boys as they embark on their start-up journey.
Moviegoers can interact with the Kannada film cast in the metaverse by taking selfies with a drone camera and participating in a movie quiz. The top quiz takers will be awarded tickets to the exclusive Bengaluru film premiere on December 29.
The metaverse, an alternative digital reality, is trying to gain popularity through films and will soon be a game-changer.
Pooja Entertainment, the production company founded by Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani, entered the metaverse and acquired its first virtual plot of land. Beginning with BadeMiyan ChoteMiyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, the company will create an immersive experience for moviegoers in the Poojaverse, a virtual setting.
