KACST, Animoca Brands To Spur Saudi’s Blockchain Web3 Development
Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has partnered with Animoca Brands to promote Blockchain and Web3 systems in the country.
The partnership aims to facilitate entry of companies and institutions into the Web3 and blockchain ecosystem.
KACST has already signed 13 partnerships, including one with Global Semiconductor Group, Elm Company, and Tulip Technologies Company.
Animoca Brands has expanded its presence in the MENA region, including KSA, and has invested in Saudi’s first NFT marketplace platform, Nuqtah.
In the UAE, Animoca Brands invested in UAE gaming startup Farcana to advance digital property rights for gaming and the metaverse.
