Indians Most Optimistic About AI in The World
A survey by IPSOS for Google found that 82% of Indian residents over 18 expect positive impacts from artificial intelligence in the near and long term.
70% already feel a positive impact due to new information access methods. Over the next 25 years, 77% believe AI will address development, poverty reduction, and improved transportation. 20% of Indians prioritize building the economy through competition, innovation, and growth.
80% believe AI’s impact on work will be beneficial individually, as echoed by respondents in Singapore, South Africa, and the UAE.
Globally, 65% of respondents have discussed AI in their workplace, while 95% have in India. Nearly half of Indian respondents believe a “safe” approach to AI is the highest imperative, with innovation being the key priority.
