EigenLayer’s EIGEN Token Debuts at $6.51 FDV.

EigenLayer’s native coin (EIGEN) is transferable and worth $7.16 billion completely diluted. On Oct. 1 at 05:00 UTC, Binance and MEXC will list it. The completely diluted token launched at $3.9 and was worth $6.51 billion.

86 million tokens were airdropped to protocol users earlier this year, bringing the market total to 1.67 billion. EigenLayer calls EIGEN the “Universal Intersubjective Work Token.”

Trump Inches Closer to Harris on Polymarket as Betting Passes $1 bn.

Polymarket gamblers have placed over $1 billion on whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris would win November. Trump is reducing the distance on Harris, who leads by one point, but swing state markets are different.

Harris has a better chance of winning four of the six swing states, which have traditionally favored Democrats, according to the prediction market site.

CleanSpark Still To Restore 165MW In Aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

US Bitcoin-mining startup CleanSpark is still battling to restore power to all of its facilities after Hurricane Helene caused floods, power outages, and significant damage in several US states.

CleanSpark, the Bitcoin miner, had to shut down 73% of its operations at the southeast Georgia location on Sept. 27 when the AI approached the “7” mile length of the plant. Its hashrate decreased from 28 to 10.5 EH/s.

On September 30, Zach’s CEO said that CleanSpark had placed 200 MW on the grid, increasing the operating hash rate to 22 EH/s. CleanSpark plans to launch the last 165 MW by Oct. 4.

 Japan’s Metaplanet Buys Additional $6.9 mn In Bitcoin, Bringing Total Holdings To $32 mn.

Today, Japanese investment firm Metaplanet Inc. bought 107.913 bitcoin worth 1 billion yen, or $6.9 million, as it stays positive on the world’s biggest cryptocurrency.

The Tokyo-listed company bought the bitcoins at an average price of 9.26 million yen, or $64,168 each. This increased its bitcoin holdings to 506.745, worth $32.2 million at current prices.
