Dogecoin (DOGE) Flips Toncoin (TON) Following An Overall Meme Coin Revival
The global crypto market capitalization has reached $2.75 trillion, with leading cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, and Avalanche experiencing significant gains.
The meme coin sector also saw a significant boost, with Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu, Pepe, and Bonk Inu all experiencing significant gains.
DOGE, the largest asset of that type, is up 8% daily, exceeding the $0.16 mark and briefly reaching $24 billion before slightly retracing to its current level of $23.6 billion.
DOGE has now …surpassed Toncoin (TON) and is the ninth-largest cryptocurrency, while Ripple’s XRP is placed eighth with a market cap of $29.8 billion.
Dogecoin’s ecosystem have also seen a 31% increase in aggregated daily volume, with daily active addresses also experiencing an uptick.
Dogecoin currently holds around 63% of its circulating supply, with 86% of all holders sitting on paper profits.
However, many analysts believe DOGE’s rally is yet to reach impressive dimensions, with some arguing that the token has flipped a multi-year resistance into new support, resulting in a “new macro uptrend.”
