Crypto.Com Gets Dutch Central Bank Regulatory Approval
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the Dutch central bank, granted registration approval to leading cryptocurrency platform Crypto.Com.
This clearance has been granted in accordance with the nation’s Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act (Wwft), and it comes after a careful review of Crypto.com’s compliance and operational procedures.
With this authorization, Crypto.com can now legally offer bitcoin services in the Netherlands. This is a crucial step that demonstrates the platform’s commitment to operating within legal bounds. CEO of Crypto.com Kris Marszalek sees this advancement as a crucial turning point for the website.
Crypto.com has secured numerous regulatory licenses worldwide, including a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license for Digital Payment Token services from Singapore, UK Financial Conduct Authority registration as a crypto-asset business, and approvals from Europe, Asia, and North America.
