Cosmetics Label Clarins Enters Metaverse
Clarins, one of Europe’s most prestigious skincare brands, has launched its first-ever collection of 325 NFTs alongside immersive augmented reality experiences. The launch, co-created with Altava Group and various influential female digital artists, commemorates the debut of Clarins Precious, the brand’s new luxury skincare range.
The NFT series, which debuted on March 7, was created to tell Clarins Precious’ story through a series of artworks that transform over time. Each NFT is centred on an hourglass and features unique animations. Ada Sokó, a Polish artist, designed four NFTs for the project. Clarins Precious also collaborated with two leading Web3 female communities, My BFF and Hervisions, as well as luxury metaverse group Altava, to provide exclusive access prior to the launch.
