Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes Bitcoin could reach $1 million per token by 2030, adding his voice to a wave of optimistic forecasts from industry leaders. Posting on X after his appearance on the Cheeky Pint podcast, Armstrong said he rarely issues price targets but sees a strong foundation for Bitcoin’s growth.
His prediction mirrors bold calls from former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who also sees Bitcoin at $1 million by 2030, while ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood has projected a $1.5 million bull case. Michael Saylor has argued that Wall Street allocating 10% of reserves to Bitcoin would propel it to seven figures, while Robert Kiyosaki has pointed to inflation and debt concerns as drivers.
Armstrong highlighted US regulatory progress on stablecoins and market structure as major milestones, adding that the government’s Bitcoin reserve underscores growing institutional adoption. He suggested such developments could unlock Bitcoin’s potential as both a financial hedge and a strategic asset.
