Chandigarh Education Dept Ready With AI Blueprint
The Chandigarh education department plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into schools, incorporating AI-controlled mid-day meal and Swachh toilet monitoring systems and an attendance geofencing system.
Currently, 122 schools and EGS/AIE centres are required to provide midday meals. Inspectors, supervisors, and organizers manage and distribute MDM through three cooking institutes and seven school cluster kitchens.
Senior officers of the UT administration, education officers, and cluster heads monitor the quality of food and distribution.
Director Harsuhinder Brar believes that a computer capable of regularly identifying good or bad meals is necessary for regulating meals in schools. Many proven models can assist in regulating meals in schools, considering various parameters.
