Tom Lee’s BitMine Immersion has staked nearly 87,000 ETH, worth over $277 million, strengthening its position as one of the largest corporate holders of Ethereum. The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to accumulate and stake ETH for the long term.
On-chain data shows BitMine now controls more than 1.7 million ETH in its staking portfolio, valued at about $5.6 billion. Despite recent market volatility, the firm continues to buy and stake Ethereum, signaling confidence in its future.
Lee said staking also helps generate income and manage the company’s debt during periods of price weakness. While Ethereum recently traded below $3,000, BitMine stayed committed to its strategy.
Institutional accumulation has contributed to a growing ETH supply crunch. According to CryptoQuant, Ethereum balances on centralized exchanges have fallen sharply. Analysts say reduced exchange supply combined with rising demand could support prices once market sentiment improves.
