BitMine Immersion Technologies has strengthened its dominance in Ethereum holdings, acquiring 46,255 ETH worth $201 million. Data from blockchain analytics firm Onchain Lens shows the funds were sent from a BitGo wallet across three addresses, one confirmed as BitMine’s and two linked through forensic analysis. If verified, this addition raises BitMine’s total holdings to 2.126 million ETH, valued at nearly $9.3 billion.
The purchase aligns with BitMine’s ambitious plan to control 5% of Ethereum’s total supply, further cementing its place as the world’s largest corporate holder of ETH. Just days earlier, the firm reported holdings of 2.069 million ETH, highlighting its aggressive accumulation strategy.
Beyond Ethereum, BitMine has shown interest in diversifying its treasury assets. Earlier this week, it invested $20 million in Eightco Holdings as part of a $270 million PIPE deal. The move supports Eightco’s plan to adopt Worldcoin (WLD) as its main treasury asset, reflecting BitMine’s broader influence on the digital asset landscape.
