Bitkub Targets Gaming To Build Market
Bitkub, Thailand’s largest digital asset exchange, has launched a collaboration with Bangkok-listed game studio Asphere in an effort to reverse the local industry’s fortunes following last year’s “crypto winter.”
Asphere, the publisher of hit games such as Ragnarok Online, paid $17.5 million for a 9.22% interest in Bitkub Online exchange from Bitkub Capital Group.
Bitkub intends to integrate its blockchain infrastructure with Asphere’s content services and 180 million user base spread over six Southeast Asian countries.
