Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget and tokenized securities platform Ondo Finance have partnered to enable retail trading of tokenized real-world assets, including over 100 stocks and ETFs. The integration also extends to Bitget Wallet, offering users 24/7 access to assets typically restricted by geography or high entry costs.
The feature lets users buy fractionalized versions of top stocks such as Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia for as little as $1. The firms plan to expand offerings to more than 1,000 tokenized securities in coming months, with support for additional blockchains like Solana and BNB Chain.
Ondo, managing over $1 billion in assets, sees the collaboration as a step toward democratizing access to global financial markets. Bitget, meanwhile, hopes to position its wallet as a “global asset passport.”
The move highlights the growing convergence of traditional finance and blockchain. By making equities tradable in tokenized form, the partnership underscores blockchain’s potential to break down barriers in global investing.
