Bengaluru Airport To Use AI For Efficiency
Bengaluru International Airport has integrated Industry.ai’s AI platform into its operations, partnering with US tech firm Nvidia Corp. The technology will be deployed at Terminal 2 starting international operations on August 31st.
The airport will utilize a video analytics and AI platform to monitor queues, congestion, abandoned baggage, and alert security staff. The platform will connect to 500 live cameras in Terminal 2, and Industry.ai’s data analytics portal, which can generate up to 12 outcomes. These outcomes will help identify bottlenecks and safety concerns, such as overspeeding or suspicious vehicle movement outside the terminal.
Industry.ai, a subsidiary of Bharat Light & Power, offers an AI platform based on Nvidia Metropolis for cloud-based video feed-based data analytics solutions.
