ApeCoin Holders Oppose Proposal
The holders of ApeCoin are voting on a plan to buy Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Mutants, TBD Doggies, and Punks Non-Fungible Token art for 11 million APE tokens. The procedure is now favoring the opposing vote, and it will be completed on September 21.
The AIP-304 proposal, commonly known as “machibigbrother.eth,” was started by Huang Licheng and was the subject of discussion in the ApeCoin community for about two months. To build a digital art movement collection, 11 million APE tokens, or roughly $12.1 million, will be used.
The Yuga series NFT assets, 1,000 BAYC, 2,000 Mutants, TBD Doggies and Punks, as well as other artwork, will be included in the NFT collection. These works of digital art will be given as prizes to users who lock their APE tokens for the protocol’s governance for a period of five years.
