50% Indian Crypto Investors In For Long Term
According to the conclusions of a research issued on Monday by cryptocurrency exchange WazirX, 53.2 percent of Indians who have invested in cryptocurrencies are seeking for long-term gains. Women were more interested in investing in cryptocurrency for the long run than men.
“85% of female respondents were HODLers, while 53.8 percent of male respondents were,” the report stated. According to the research, HODLers are those who invest in cryptocurrency for long-term gains. The analysis was based on a survey of WazirX investors between the ages of 18 and 60.
In the 18-30 age group, 40% of respondents invested over Rs 40,000 in digital assets, despite the bear market. Interestingly, 88% of investors in this age group have invested in Crypto in the last year. Among those aged 31-45, 50% invested more than Rs 40,000 in virtual digital assets, while 84% invested in Crypto. Among 45-60-year-olds, 40% invested more than Rs 40,000 in virtual digital assets. The top objective of these investors remains high returns on their crypto investments.
