In reality, it was a rendered deepfake of the CFO and not the actual person.
- The Prince Group Fraud: The Cambodia-based Prince Group actively managed industrial-scale criminal-run facilities for illegal profits. In 2025, the U.S. and international authorities acted against this group as they derived $15B in illegal profits from AI-enhanced social engineering, a manipulation technique that is used to exploit human error to gain private information or access.
- The M3M3 Token Manipulation: Token manipulations are common in the cryptocurrency industry. In the M3M3 token manipulation, insiders allegedly used over 150 AI-managed wallets to control 95% of the new token’s supply at launch. Scammers artificially inflated the price before a “dump” that cost investors roughly $69M in the year 2025.
