Pineapple Financial Inc. has launched a $100 million Injective Digital Asset Treasury strategy, starting with an open-market purchase of 678,353 Injective tokens valued at approximately $8.9 million.
The Toronto-based fintech said this purchase is part of its larger plan to become the world’s largest INJ holder and staker, with all tokens deployed onchain for an expected yield of 12.75%—nearly double Ethereum’s rate and higher than Solana’s.
The initiative follows Pineapple’s $100 million private placement completed in September 2025. CEO Shubha Dasgupta said the investment “underscores our conviction in the $INJ token’s long-term strength.”
Injective Labs co-founder Eric Chen added that Pineapple’s participation reinforces Injective’s role as a blockchain built for financial applications. The move positions Pineapple as a leading institutional player in the Injective ecosystem.
