Web3 Diaries- ChatGPT Predicts BTC’s Price

The Bitcoin network is scheduled to undertake its fourth halving in less than a year, and the speculations on whether it will have an impact on the asset’s price have already begun.

After all, BTC went on a wild run after the previous three examples. But what does ChatGPT think about it?

The first one reduced the block rewards from 50 BTC to 25 BTC, the second and the third drove them down to the current 6.25. This means that the cryptocurrency’s current inflation levels are under 2% and will go further down as the rewards will be 3.125 BTC after the 2024 halving.

Although there are more than 19 million BTC mined already out of the total 21 million supply ever to exist, the halvings make it so that the last mined bitcoin will be after more than 100 years from now.

DeSantis: ‘Bitcoin Represents a Threat to the Current Regime’

Ron DeSantis, the latest contender for the leadership of the Republican Party is an advocate for crypto.

“The current regime, clearly, has it out for Bitcoin,” Ron DeSantis said during a Twitter space with Elon Musk and venture capitalist David Sacks in which he officially announced his bid for U.S. president. “And if it continues for another four years, they’ll probably end up killing it.”

DeSantis said he views crypto as a question of civil liberties. As Florida’s governor, he signed legislation prohibiting the use of central bank digital currencies within the state (although some lawyers question if the law does what it says).

Terra Co-Founder Do Kwon Denied Bail By Montenegro Court

Do Kwon – co-founder of the collapsed Terra (LUNA) blockchain – has been denied bail after receiving initial approval to be released for roughly $430,500.

On Wednesday, a court spokesperson told Bloomberg that a high court in Monetegro’s capital overturned a lower court decision to release Kwon on €400,000. The founder remains in jail.

Prosecutors were quick to appeal the lower court decision earlier this month, which left things to the higher court to decide.
