WazirX Granted ‘Conditional Moratorium’ by Singapore Court
By Vishakha Thakur
WazirX has requested a four-month moratorium from a Singapore court to avoid financial consequences, agreeing to disclose wallet addresses and financials within six weeks. Despite securing this relief for its Singapore operations, Indian users remain worried, especially after a hacker laundered $163.6M in stolen funds.
The exchange faces scrutiny over its security and competence, raising doubts about its future. WazirX founder Nishchal Shetty emphasized the move as a path to recovery and restructuring.
