The long-awaited Crypto Market Bill is moving closer to approval as Senate Banking Committee Chair Tim Scott announced that both the Banking and Agriculture committees plan to vote on the legislation next month.
Scott criticized Senate Democrats for delaying progress but said formal votes are now within reach.
Journalist Eleanor Terrett confirmed that both panels are expected to act soon, with a full Senate vote likely early next year.
The bill, originally more Republican-leaning, is now being shaped into a bipartisan version to improve its chances of reaching the President’s desk.
