Upbit Blocks CRV Withdrawals
Following the discovery of a large exploit over the weekend, South Korean exchange Upbit has temporarily halted the withdrawal and deposit of Curve Finance’s CRV token.
Curve (CRV) stablecoin pools are vulnerable, resulting in high volatility. Investors should be careful and consider making cautious investments. Deposits and withdrawals have been temporarily halted to protect the security of digital asset transactions.
Curve could lose more than $100 million as a result of a re-entry vulnerability in the Vyper programming language used in its tech stack, which affects many stablecoin pools.
However, other from Upbit, no other exchanges have acted. Huobi recently tweeted that it is “closely monitoring the situation.”
